2016 – Here we come! And a look back at 2015…
Before we have a look back, we first want to look ahead and wish the entire Estateya community a very successful, happy, healthy, and prosperous 2016. We also want to express our gratitude for your membership, participation, and feedback. We are fully aware and appreciative that you are helping make Estateya a success.
And now a look back….
2015 saw a lot of changes, developments, and improvements for Estateya – not always easy, but always worth it!
In 2015 we introduced Estateya’s analytics technology, which tells you which cities receive the most searches for real estate investment and which cities have the highest yields, as well as trending real estate opportunities around the world. In 2015 we also signed an agreement with AltaLab Accelerator and raised seed funding on their AltaClub Angel Investors Platform. In addition, we participated in the Digital Life Design (DLD) Tel Aviv Innovation Conference where we completed a successful product marketing campaign that highlighted our newest business intelligence tools and provided us with an amazing response and interest from the VCs and angel investors that attended the conference. Moving into September, we expanded our management team with the addition of Rani Simcha who was the former real estate manager of AMDOC’s. In that same theme, Alon Chaver joined our advisory board. Alon is is a veteran of the real estate industry with more than 25 years of experience under his belt. He is the co-founder and CEO of iHomeFinder, the former VP of Industry at Trulia (NASDAQ:Z) and currently the Director, Board of Managers at Public Portal. We also took a big step and expanded into Europe’s distressed properties market, bringing to Estateya several of these properties for our members to invest in. October 2015 was another important milestone for Estateya because that is when BizSpark, Microsoft’s program for helping promising, new startups grow and scale, agreed to let Estateya use their cloud platform, Azure, for free! And if that weren’t enough, in November, our CEO, Lior Herman, was featured on a Startup Camel podcast. Startup Camel podcasts reveal the inside stories behind today’s emerging Israeli startups. The final coup of the year, however, came in December when Estateya took first place at the Nadlan City Real Estate Conference Competition for Real Estate Tech Startups. The Nadlan City Real Estate Conference is the largest of its kind in all of Israel and it attracts newspaper coverage, investors, agents, and personnel in the high-tech, real estate, and construction sectors from around the world. The award we received was for the most promising real estate startup technology site for 2015 (!) and was a wonderful way for us to finish off the year and usher in a new year of success. Added to all of that, were all the improvements and new features we added to the site, so we do indeed feel that we have had a great year and are looking forward to an even greater year in 2016.
And on that note, once again, we would like to wish all of you a very happy and healthy new year and remind you to invest, simply with Estateya.
